5K a year Overview Otterbein has an employment opportunity for a Part-Time Floor Care Specialist.
The Custodian/Floor Care Specialist provide a clean, safe environment for residents, guests and employees.
Under the direction and supervision of the housekeeping/laundry liaison or environmental services mentor, completes scheduled/assigned project tasks such as floor stripping/refinishing, carpet extraction, wall washing, etc.
Performs general custodial duties.

Text OTTER to 89743 Responsibilities Able to work independently and display good sound judgement when making independent decisions Keeps work area clean and free of hazardous conditions, ensures equipment, tools and supplies are properly stored before leaving areas Demonstrates technical knowledge of products (project specific chemicals) and proper use and mixing Demonstrates proper operation of equipment - Auto Scrubber and Burnisher Performs general cleaning procedures of rooms, stairwells, windows, elevators, etc.
Demonstrates technical knowledge and operation of Spill/Spot cleaning, Carpet Extractors and upright/walk behind vacuums Maintains stock room, breaks down boxes and assists with moves Proper cleaning and storage of mops, buckets, wringers, etc.
Make rounds of interior building to ensure office security at the end of shift
Qualifications Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
