Full-time Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant (Temporary)

Kingston Residence of Sylvania (Assisted Living Facility) is seeking a great new team member for our Housekeeping Department!
The purpose of this position is to implement facility housekeeping procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet resident needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
Responsible for implementing housekeeping procedures and perform tasks required to meet resident needs.
1. Remove waste and dispose of waste in accordance with facility procedures and policies.
2.Assist in the proper care of housekeeping equipment
3. Follow guidelines outlined in MSDS sheets when using cleaning or other supplies
4. Monitor common areas and takes appropriate actions (removing trash, cleaning up spills or messes) without prompting
Required Skills:
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
Previous work experience as a housekeeper preferred
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to speak, read and understand English
Must be able to lift 30 pounds regularly. This is a physically demanding position requiring the ability to walk, stoop, stand, bend, push and pull, stretch, lift, pivot, grasp and reach. Requires long periods of standing, walking, and physical activity. Finger, hand dexterity, visual and aural acuity is necessary.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
