Job Description

Experienced Product Engineer-Electronics is required having 7 years or more related experience in the following skills like Switches, SCCM, IECP and CQA.

Job
Responsibilities:

Interfacing with OEMs to receive acceptance of projects, managing projects to GDPIM, achieving cost savings targets, managing/coordinating projects through CQA approval and handoff to Program Management.
Requires close interface and cooperation with internal and external groups.
Some travel required.
Responsible for generating and developing cost reduction and product improvement ideas, fabricating samples for testing and validation, documenting business cases for financial benefit, performing technical evaluations and developing generic timelines.
Individual required assisting in the development and fulfilment of the OP cost savings target.
Must be highly motivated, able to work independently and drive ideas through completion.
Opportunity for inter-department and management visibility.

Job Requirements &
Experience:

Specific knowledge of SCCM, IECP, Complex and Simple Automotive Switches would be a plus.
7 years or more related experience. BSEE or BSCS required.
Seeking individual with EE background to help develop and deliver cost savings projects for Global Body Control Business Unit.
Preferred degree in EE;
Exposure/skillset in Electronics/Software design, Mechanisms, Program
Management or Production Processes are also desired.

Required Skills:
Experience with CMMI/ASPICE is preferred
Ability to plan and organize effectively.
Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Preferred experience with hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) systems.
Support launches activities at manufacturing facilities and assembly plants. Participate in prototype vehicle level static and dynamic sign-offs.
Coordinate EHCU system release at customer and / or software release including resolving engineering issues associated with ECU and vehicle interfaces.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
