Social Worker II - Per Diem - Days

The Social Worker provides social work services to adult and pediatric clients to facilitate their understanding and resolution of problems related to environmental stress, physical illness and interpersonal conflicts that impede their treatment and recovery
Job Requirements
A master's degree in social work is required.
Social Work licensure in the State of Ohio as an LISW and State of Michigan as a LMSW
Three years social work experience in a health care setting required, home care experience preferred.
Ability to work effectively on an interdisciplinary health care team.
Must have reliable transportation to entire service area.
Maintains knowledge of community resources and referrals to all service areas.
Must be able to move about the facilities and between workstations and work sites per established productivity levels.
Must be able to understand directions and communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills.
Must be able to tolerate exposure to dust, temperature changes.
Must be able to occasionally move, lift, and/or carry medium weight objects or materials.
Must be able to use computerized documentation system and laptop computer.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
