Support Coordinator III - Part Time - Weekends

The Support Coordinator performs functions related to the verification of patient's primary insurance payer for all home care and hospice referrals. They will work closely with admissions to ensure a smooth transition from the inpatient setting to the homecare setting by collecting and reporting to the discharge planners the expected patient liability for home care services provided.
Job Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Previous medical office or hospital experience is required
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of insurance verification experience, preferable health care related
Must demonstrate the ability to accurately and independently solve problems
A strong working knowledge of third-party payers is preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
